Downey Duck Nockamixon State Park

Nockamixon State Park covers 5,283 acres of woodland and fields in northern Bucks County.

What To See

There are an assortment of warm water species including walleye, muskellunge, pickerel, smallmouth and largemouth bass, striped bass hybrids, channel catfish, carp and various types of panfish.

The average depth of the lake 40 feet with a maximum of 90 feet.

How to Get There

The park serves the Philadelphia and Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metropolitan areas and is located five miles east of Quakertown and nine miles west of Doylestown. The park can be reached by using the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike, Exit 32. The main entrance to the park is located on PA Route 563 and may be reached via Routes 309, 313 or 412.

Rates

There is no "entry fee" to dive the lake.
