Downey Duck Guppy Gulch Quarry
Scuba Divers of all levels find excitement at Guppy Gulch! The Quarry is located in Delta, Pennsylvania, just north of the Maryland state line, within an hour's commute from Baltimore and Harrisburg. Guppy Gulch is also within an hour and a half drive from Philadeliphia, Washington, D.C. and Wilmington. Make the trip: it's a great weekend adventure.

What To See

Spend a relaxing weekend scuba diving at the Gulch. Enjoy a facility designed exclusively to meet the needs of both certified divers and new scuba students. Guppy Gulch has the best rates and most convenient hours in the region. The pavilion is a great place to picnic and relax between dives and the NEW changing facilities, showers and restrooms are completed and ready for use.

ADMISSION (per day)

  • Diver - $10
  • Non-diver - $8
  • Day and Night Dives - $15
  • Camping - $10 per campsite
  • Instructors with current certification card - Free
  • One Assistant Instructor Free with every six paying students in a class.
  • Children under 12 free
  • $4 - Air fills (current hydro and vip required for all air fills)

  • Tanks: 72 cu.ft. steel- $8
  • 80 cu.ft. aluminum- $9
  • 92 cu.ft. aluminum- $10
  • Regulator with submersible pressure gauge - $10
  • BC - $11
  • Wetsuit - $20
  • Full-Gear Package - $45 includes a 72 cu. ft. steel tank, regulator with submersible pressure gauge, buoyancy compensator, 1/4" wetsuit with hood, weight belt with weight
  • The full-gear package is offered to former Aquatic Connection students for only $25.

Open Saturdays and Sundays

  • March 1st - November 30th: 8 am to 5 pm.
  • December 1st - February 28th: Call (410) 285-6454 for hours.
  • Other day and times by appointment only.
  • Call to make arrangements for overnight camping.
  • No air fills after 4pm.

Rules

  • All divers must present proof of certification by a nationally recognized agency to participate in SCUBA activities.
  • Individuals participation in SCUBA classes must be under the direct supervision of a certified diving instructor.
  • Buoyancy compensator, pressure gauge, timing device, and depth gauge are required for all divers.
  • No property or underwater structures may be damaged or removed from the site.
  • Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No one is permitted to dive alone.
  • No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed on the site.
  • No pets allowed on the site.
  • No jumping or diving from the quarry walls.
  • Fires in designated areas only.
  • No firearms or spear guns allowed on the site.
  • No fishing.
  • No swimming.
  • Lights are mandatory for all night dives.
  • Please park in designated areas.
  • Current Hydro and VIP required for air fills
