Class
begins promptly each evening at 6:30. Your home study materials will consist
of either the PADI manual & video, or multimedia computer program.
These can be purchased the first night of class. Each class begins with
a review and elaboration of the current chapter followed by a short
quiz, then we head to the pool for diving practice. Bring only a swimsuit,
we will supply all your diving equipment. It's very important that you
attend all classes, as chapters must be completed in order. If you miss
a session, it may be made up at another of our locations at no additional
charge. Private make-up classes are$20/hour.
After completing classroom and pool sessions, you will do four open water
dives. These dives are scheduled at various times. (See
our Calendar) If this is not convenient for you, we can give you a
referral to do your dives at another time and place, such as on your next
tropical vacation. After you have completed your four open water dives,
you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.
