Downey DuckDivemaster
Would you like to lead dives and dive trips, taking certified divers on vacations to the world's best dive sites? Divemasters supervise and lead certified divers during club, store, resort or travel activities as well as assisting in instruction. As a divemaster you enjoy again and again the adventures to which you introduce your clients.

You will become an expert diver while earning the coveted Divemaster rating. Like most divers, you've probably thought of the lifestyle of the dive instructors you've known -- great diving, traveling, meeting new people, and, best of all, working in a job they love. The reality is that diving offers a serious part or full time career opportunity.

As a blossoming, dynamic recreation, diving supports a growing industry, and opportunities for trained professionals abound -- from sales positions with retail dive centers to divemaster roles in the world's most exotic dive destinations.

A divemaster's substantial leadership training enables you to assist Instructors, have a high degree of personal diving skills, possess Instructor-level dive theory knowledge, and assume a leadership role for divers in your charge.
