Nestled between the road and the ocean, 3/4 mile south of George Town, away form the seven mile beach tourist traps, Sunset House is a well-established 50 room mid-range hotel whose rooms are divided among 4 two-story buildings. Accommodations are simple, no-nonsense, and comfortable, ranging from an economical unit opening onto the courtyard, a larger room open onto views of the sea, or a spacious suite with sofa and two queen size beds.

The on site bar and restaurant are among the best on the island and popular with locals as well as guests.

Sunset house is a divers resort, with a 5 boat in-house dive operation that docks right at the resort. It also has great shore diving. A nice wreck and the wall are a short swim from shore and if your timing is right you can wave as the tourist submarine goes by. Expect flat seas and little current with dives off the west wall as well as Sting Ray City and the wreck of the Kittwake.
